Vintage traditional Japanese apron, known as maekake in Japanese. Both men and women wear these aprons.

Very hard wearing. The cotton is sturdy. Good for the workshop, studio, garage, kitchen or grilling in the garden.

Vintage/new maekake are worn by Japanese today and are associated with any kind of business wishing to express an affinity to traditional Japan, but are the most visible in restaurants, bars, markets stalls, etc.

This one is for a sake company the logo/name of the product reads 'Tamajiman'.
