Kasuri is the Japanese word for ikat. E is the word for picture. When the words are combined it is pronounced egasuri meaning picture ikat. The cotton threads are dyed in natural indigo and woven into auspicious pictures.

The full length could be used for a quilt, table runner, cushion cover, wall hanging, etc.
