Vintage artisan made linen fabric. Early to mid 1900s.

Hand loomed hemp linen. Soft, smooth and light.

Hand dyed in natural indigo.

Boro patches have been sewn on for repair. The large patch is still attached but has come loose and needs a little hand stitching. There are some marks and stains adding to the vintage charm.

Light and sheer when held up to the light.

I think it would make a wonderful noren curtain or scarf.
